Dr. Tommy Shapard serves as Minister of Music and Worship at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church and has been with the church since 2008. He is married to the Rev. Rachel Gunter Shapard, and they have three kids: Drew, Kate, and Mac. 

Tommy also serves as the Director of Choral and Vocal Activities at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Besides all things music and worship, his focal interest lies in inclusive singing practices and community music-making that promotes change.
