Information Regarding Coronavirus and HAB

Dear HAB Family,

“We, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another” (Romans 12:5).  This means that we care not only for ourselves but for our sisters and brothers who journey with us.  As we continue to navigate the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we must be guided by what is best for the most people.  In that spirit, the staff and church leadership have made the difficult decision to move to a Sunday morning online only worship service at 10:30, with the rest of our weekly events being cancelled through March 26.  At that time, we will reevaluate our mission and ministries going forward.

This Sunday, March 15, our 10:30 a.m. worship can be accessed via Facebook Live on the church’s Facebook page.  We will attempt to record the service in order to post it later on the church’s website.  We hope that as many as are able will participate in this interactive online worship experience.  Please visit our website and social media channels for further information as we walk together through this difficult time.  As we accelerate our electronic capabilities, we hope to be able to live stream our services soon.

Please spread the word that our regular services and events are cancelled, especially to those who don’t use e-mail or social media.

You may still give your offering at https://egivingskiosk.com/egive3/index.cfm?page=donate

The church office will also be closed during this time.

Grace and peace,

The HAB Staff
